Smartphone Addiction

It is hard to believe that the iPhone became available in 2007. Since then, our lives have changed. I use my Smartphone for many tasks, such as to tell time, take pictures, connect with friends, read the news, and answer work emails. I don't leave home without it!


The downside to the Smartphone is that many people are addicted to their phones. They cannot put their phones down! In fact, Statista says it is time for a digital detox. They got their information from a survey conducted by Deloitte in 2017, which noted that 47 percent of U.S. smartphone owners have made an effort to limit their phone use in the past. See Deloitte's infographic for more information.
