Gallup conducted a poll to find the professions Americans trust the most. Unfortunately, business executives were toward the bottom of the list with only 16 percent of those polled feeling that executives have high levels of honesty. More than eight in 10 (82%) Americans describe nurses' ethics as "very high" or "high." In contrast, 28% of Americans rate business executives as "very low" or "low" when it comes to honesty and ethical standards. The top six professions rated as "high" or "very high" for honesty and ethical standards were nurses, military officers, grade school teachers, medical doctors, police officers and pharmacists.
