Which companies are making progress on diversity? Forbes and Statista surveyed 50,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees to create their second annual ranking of America’s best employers for diversity.
First place Ball, a packaging and aerospace company, had a score of 85.85. Statista reports "The company says that it emphasizes embracing diversity and providing an inclusive environment where its employees can thrive". A statement on Ball's website says that "diversity among individuals and teams helps to unleash ideas and fuel innovation, which drives growth and value throughout our global organization". Ball, also, has a diversity and inclusion blog, where Manette Snow, vice president, diversity and inclusion, discusses a different topic each month about Ball’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
