Pharmaceutical CEO Put the Spotlight on Drug Price...

Martin Shkreli, former Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO, was just convicted and sentenced to seven years in prison for defrauding investors. But, before he was convicted of defrauding investors, he was referred to as "the most hated man in America" and "Pharma Bro" for raising the price of a prescription pill from $13.50 to $750. In the video above, he said that his primary duty was to make profits for his shareholders. However, many are concerned about the price of drugs. CNBC reported that a choked-up Shkreli told a judge before she imposed the prison term in Brooklyn, New York, federal court, "The one person to blame for me being here today is me."
