Thanks for the video.  It offered several ways to integrate technology into the classroom.  I  was very compelled by your question, "why should the classroom be the most boring place in my student's life?".  Definitely food for thought as we plan for fall semester.

You mentioned you use Classroom Response.  Where can I find more information?  I have used Kahoot and Quizlet, but would like to find out more.  I couldn't locate it.

@MEWill07 My institution has adopted Top Hat for classroom response and attendance. Students subscribe to the service for one or more semesters and they can use it across multiple classes.

I am finding that in my classrooms the digital age is a HUGE distraction but at home/ study times it could be a
HUGE advantage.  Its teaching the student how to use time management.

Very nicely presented.  I like the added resources for my students and for me.

Great food for thought. K12 educators are inundated with so much more edtech tools (I am finding this more and more in the last couple of weeks). In higher education, we do not use tech tools as much as we should. There is always the hot button topic of inclusivity. We do not want to isolate students who do not have any electronic device so requiring them is still something I have to be careful about. Technology is definitely here to stay and it so helpful in a lot of  glorious ways. But overuse of anything can be detrimental. We just all have to be mindful, use of tech is good, abuse of tech is not.

Using technology in the classroom allows you to experiment in education, and keep students engage. On the other hand, technology in the classroom can be distracting. Therefore, technology needs to be used appropriately. I allow to students to use their cell phones in my sociology class, which creates discuss on what is going on  in the world.
