This will be my second CCE and I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with many of the instructors I met last year and meeting many new ones.

I am Melinda Doty and I teach at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. I am currently in my 10th year teaching full-time for the University and taught part time at ECU and Pitt Community College prior to receiving this position.
I have attended several CCEs in the past with my first being in San Diego, CA where I presented. Last year at CCE in Charleston, SC, I was asked to be a Faculty Partner for Cengage. I love Cengage and have been using their products for years. I currently use the Shelly Cashman Series with integrated Mindtap and SAM as well as stand-alone SAM in my face-to-face class. I plan to integrate that course into my LMS with the next texts coming out! I utilize the SAM PATHS with Trainings and Exams and the SAM projects. I teach online and face-to-face integrated courses and I am always looking for ways to excite my students about learning new technologies.
I look forward to seeing some of you again meeting the rest of you!
P.S. Hey Danielle! 🙂

Hello everyone, I have attended so many of the Cengage/Course Technology events over the years that I have lost count, going back to the Shelly/Cashman institutes at Purdue. I cherish the friendships made and look forward to making new friends at this conference. I am arriving in Seattle on Saturday April 6, a day ahead of the conference and looking for things to do Saturday night and Sunday. I'm thinking of a whale watching tour on Sunday. Anyone else coming in early and would like to meet for dinner/drinks Saturday please hit me up,

Can't wait to see everyone in Redmond! I am on the MS campus many times a year and it is so nice to show off the beautiful campus! Expect some construction, but expect many crowdsourced new buildings that the community helped design on social media. Read this link: https://news.microsoft.com/modern-campus/

Hi, Everyone - I am so excited to be in Seattle and ready for #CCE2019. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you.
My name is Jill Staut, I am part of the Marketing team for Introductory Computing and Computer Concepts. I have been in Higher Education Publishing /Educational Technology for almost 30 years and with Cengage for around 23 years.
This will be my fifth CCE event that I am attending, though only my second as an official member of the Computing Team. In prior years I attended in supporting roles with LMS Integrations, Implementation and Training and as part of the International Marketing team.
I have lived in Central Florida for the last 20 years, but am a proud "cheesehead" growing up in Milwaukee, attending the Univ of WI and loving my Green Bay Packers and Badgers. I am also a Super Bowl Baby (remember that commercial)? And while I am not a Seahawks fan (recall that controversial playoff call), they hold a special place in my heart since that was the first NFL game I ever attended when Seattle was an expansion team in 1974, plus their QB, Russell Wilson, is a Badger.
See you all soon!!

my name is Daniel Ciomek and I teach a large hybrid MIS course at San Francisco State University, with a strong Excel and Access component. I am looking forward to my first CCE, it's been a few years since I used Aplia, MindTab, and SAM. I am curious to see what's new and where things are heading with digital learning and Office 2019, especially since we now run our own Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification test center on campus. I am also very interested in security and privacy topics and excited to see CompTIA topics are on the agenda as well. Since our department got into the MOS badging we are now thinking if these kind of certifications might be something worth pursuing and how to potentially integrate this into the class (in other classes, such as security and networks).
Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome Daniel to your first CCE conference. You will enjoy it and learn a lot.
My Office Technology Programs have the final exam in each Microsoft Office courses which is the MOS.
Enjoy your conference.
