Special Needs Students Needs Extended Time on Skills Exams

Q. Does anyone know how to give a student extended time on a skills exam? Special needs students often request time and a half on skills exams and I'm curious how to accomplish in MindTap. It's easy to do in Sam.

Inquiry minds want to know.

Thank you

To extend time (or change due dates) for individual students on individual assignments or activities, start by clicking the link in the course to go to the MindTap gradebook. Select the name of the student who needs assistance. Scroll down the list of assignments and activities and choose the skills exam you need to change. A pop up box will appear with a small calendar (for changing the due date) and clock (for extending the time). Make the adjustments and then click "done."

Easy peasy!

If you need this for every test/quiz/exam in the semester, you can also contact tech support and they can set them up for each assignment. This will save you some time from having to "touch" each exam.
