Re: Opening a DAT file

What test bank did you download? If it's a Blackboard package you won't be able to open without the use of the LMS.

Re: Opening a DAT file

Where did you get the DAT file from?  Cengage Instructor Resources?  I'm not sure I've ever downloaded a DAT file from my Instructor Resources, but I found all sorts of info online about DAT files that  might help you open it in a text editor or Word.  Check out this LINKhttps://www.lifewire.com/what-is-a-dat-file-2620550

Re: Opening a DAT file

Usually in my experience the data files and test bank files are in "zip" format (compressed) which can be unzipped easily using tools that built-in nowadays for both Windows and Mac computers. Is DAT an extension of the file you downloaded?

You can always reach out to your campus Cengage rep. or learning consultant for help in this matter also.
