How Do I Keep All These Programs From Starting Up When I Start My Computer?

My Mac takes too long to bootup because I've got too many apps set at startup (which makes my computer take forever to bootup). How do I make sure that specific apps areen't set to open at bootup?

Good question. This can be a little tricky but here are the steps:

  1. Click the little Mac icon in the upper left of your screen
  2. In System preferences, click on Users & Groups
  3. Click on Login Items
  4. Remove whatever programs you have to start at startup
