"While their answers varied, the ultimate theme was clear: the future revolves around the customer and in order to succeed brands need to harness technological tools to create meaningful points of engagement." IBM explains engagement as anticipating customer’s needs and humanizing transactions, regardless of whether customers are purchasing online or in the store.
