No power

This question is answered

I own a 2002 GMC Savanna Explorer van and I have no power at all.  The battery is at 100%.  What do I need to check?

Verified Answer
  • Cecily, first check all your fuses for the ignition, and starter relay.

Then check your battery ground, and positive cable connections.

Check to see if you have any diagnostic trouble codes present in the vehicle, that may help with your diagnostics.

Components that could cause the issue include:

    • Blown fuse
    • Battery cables
    • Starter motor solenoid
    • Faulty pass-lock system or ignition key

Make sure the battery has been load tested. Sometimes the battery voltage will read okay but when you load test it it will drop. Make sure the battery is checked out properly
