The cost of entry is now so low--with websites that make posting your video resource-light and relatively easy--that Garland believes that video presents an opportunity that those with lower budgets and smaller staffs have never had before. One still has to believe that there is a cost to jumping into a new medium and putting out something that harms your brand, but that doesn't diminish the potential marketing benefits of video.
