Niall Ferguson has been making the rounds lately, talking about his latest book The Ascent of Money. The book came out last fall, and the timing seems right for this history of finance and, as Ferguson cheekily puts it, "moolah." Ferguson is professor of history at Harvard University, professor of business administration at Harvard Business School, fellow at Oxford, and contributing editor at the Financial Times. If he were a basketball player Bill Raftery would call him a "stat sheet stuffer." Now he's a television host as well.
