Most corporations are global businesses now.  If the workforce is not based in different cities and nations, then the employees are at least from a variety of cultures.  This presents opportunities and challenges.  Harvard Business Review asked several management scholars to weigh in on what values are required to effectively manage across cultures:

Empathy?  Cultural intelligence?  Open-mindedness?  What are the values required to lead a global workforce?
