Marie Jepsen, Director of Research for the European Trade Union says that the EU faces a "trilemma." Fiscal consolidation, demographic challenges, and the "green transition." And in the face of this trilemma, European businesses may be displaying some uncertainty and reluctance to act--even if this is exactly the time to do so.
