The World Economic Forum held its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland last week. And in one panel discussion, global business leaders took the stage to discuss the role of private enterprise in reviving the global economy. Indra Nooyi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PepsiCo, notes early on in this discussion that "faith in corporations is at an all-time low," and that sets the tone for her and others to begin to outline what CEOs and business leaders need to do to be respected global leaders. Other participants on the panel were Google's Eric Schmidt, HSBC's Stephen Green, Wang Jianzhou--Chairman and Chief Executive of China Mobile Communications Corporation--and Rosabeth Moss Kanter of Harvard Business School.
