Adam Davidson started Planet Money for NPR as the global economic crisis hit 7 months ago, and the reporting unit/blog quickly became one of the most reliable providers of clear reporting on economic issues. He and Planet Money colleague Alex Blumberg are also the reporters who put together the Giant Pool of Money broadcasts for This American Life. In this interview for Harvard's Nieman Journalism Lab, Davidson discusses how he goes about reporting a story so complex as the subprime mortgage crisis:
