Since the Columbine massacre in 1999, America's attention has unfortunately been regularly drawn to school shootings. The incident in Ohio recently proved this point. The Chardon school shooting reminded us of the impact violence can have on our society. Despite the attention we have devoted to the issues surrounding school violence, we have yet to figure out how to prevent these senseless tragedies.
